Every two weeks, I give a vocabulary quiz to my ninth grade resource room English class, and I am always looking for new games and strategies to help students interact with the words. We usually spend about 10-15 minutes practicing the words each class period. Usually I start with a triple-entry vocabulary journal the first day, and then we play games with sentences or matching during the following classes. At this point, I am looking for some new (and hopefully FUN) ideas for vocabulary review. Any suggestions?
